IMEDCO RF enclosures can be supplied with three types of lamps:

The lighting system was especially developed for IMEDCO. It is non-magnetic and does not generate interference or voltage spikes.
Only incandescent lighting is permitted in the RF enclosure. Dimmer switches or other devices in series may not be used, but a selector switch is permissible to control brightness. The special bulbs with reinforced elements provided are ideal in rooms subject to magnetic fields.
IMEDCO can provide emergency interior lighting for the RF enclosure. The system comprises a 10 Watt halogen lamp and standby battery with a minimum capacity of one hour.
Usually all lighting is supplied and installed ready for wiring by others to comply with local electrical regulations.

Surface mounted non-magnetic spotlights
The spotlights are in a lamp housing of white plastic with a silicone seal and thus conform to Protection Class IP44 (splash waterproof). The fittings and the walls around them can thus be disinfected without difficulty. The ratings of the reflector bulb are 80W/12V PAR 38, E27 (12° beam angle).

Recessed ceiling lights
Ceiling lamps are recessed and have a beam angle of 30°. They are of a die-cast white powder-painted aluminium construction with an E27 porcelain and brass bulb fitting (Picture above).
