IMEDCO shielded floors are covered in vinyl laid on copper strips connected to a common ground terminal using electrically conducting adhesive.

The ColoRex® products SD and EC are homogeneous pressed tiles. Due to the high vinyl content and the high-pressure manufacturing process, the tiles have excellent resistance to wear and indentation. Should nevertheless damage occur, the surface can be repaired. The smooth non-porous surface exhibits good resistance to chemicals and is easy to clean. Since no anti-static additives are used, the electrostatic discharge (ESD) properties are permanent.
