The ceiling panels are 40 cm wide and are perforated over 12% of their area. They have mineral wool pads on the top which have a polyethylene cover to prevent fibres escaping into the air. This combination provides both an acoustic barrier and serves to distribute air when the ventilation is in the ceiling. The length of the panels can vary in increments of 20 cm from 120 cm to 200 cm depending on the width of the room. Normally there are three rows across the width of the room symmetrically disposed about the centre.
