There are two types of wave-guides available, one comprising a threaded brass pipe secured in a brass plate to provide an RF-proof junction and the other a wave-guide of copper tubing soldered to an especially insulated dielectric filter, which can be attached to the existing hospital medical gas line. The choice of wave-guide depends on local regulations.
