IMEDCO America Ltd. was established as a wholly-owned subsidiary of IMEDCO AG in April 2000. Prior to that time, IMEDCO was represented in the USA by MJK Associates, a sales representative company going back to 1994.
The Division office was re-located from Dallas to Noblesville, IN a northern suburb of Indianapolis in 2002. In the summer of 2007, the offices were moved to a larger, 17,500 square foot facility that includes over 12,000 square foot of warehousing and manufacturing space. This move was critical to meet the Company's objective to establish manufacturing and distribution of IMEDCO product lines in the states to better serve the North American market.
The Division now includes local Sales, Marketing, Project Management, Drafting, Manufacturing, Installation, and Service resources. A sales office is also maintained in Dallas.
Director and General Manager of the Division is Mike Krachon. Mike has been associated with IMEDCO since 1994 and has been involved with Medical Diagnostic Equipment Product Management and Planning since 1972.
There has been over 500 projects completed in the USA and Canada since the Company began its N. America efforts. Many of the projects include the Company's SilentSHIELD™ components as more and more architects and customers have come to realize the benefits of combining RF Shielding with Acoustic shielding.
With the Division's additional capabilities and resources, IMEDCO expects to have more opportunities to strengthen our position in the market and increase its growing customer base.
